so on. These are called Resource Services. Under that title in

Other sites that may be added include books, financial news and performing arts. We
received this information from David Walrath's office, please write to
the governor asking him not to change our current retirement:
During
the April 12 and 13 CalSTRS Board meeting, some of Governor Brown's
appointees appeared to be trying to push the Governor's pension
proposal for a risky hybrid pension plan for new CalSTRS members.
CalRTS opposes this risky proposal to include a 401(k) defined
contribution plan as part of the CalSTRS retirement plan for new
educators. CalRTA opposes because educators should not have
a significant portion of their retirement security dependent on the
stock market on the day they retire.
Please write the Governor and state that you are a retired teacher and very strongly oppose his 401(k) risky retirement proposal that will hurt future education. | Membership Membership
is not restricted to retired educators. If you are currently in education or interested in our goals, you are welcomed! Local Division Followship and Fun Each
of our divisions has luncheon meetings and other events that
stress followship and having fun. The links to
the web sites of our divisions are displayed near the top of the
page. When you visit a division site, check out its newsletter for information about its activities at the local level. ![]() Cathe Norman, Area 4 Director Area Reps at State Level Bylaws: Orville Johnson, Division 59 Communications: Charlotte Lowrey, Division 91 Insurance: Les Leibovitch, Division 85 Legislation: John Lowrey, Division 92 Membership: Pat Seaman, Division 52 and Teri Gerritz, Division 49 Nominations and Elections: Richard Bergamini, Division 52 Resource Services: Sharon Yool, Division 91 Articles by these representatives will appear periodically in the Reports links in the left column.
